Join us at the "Dear Church" Bible Study via Zoom

Begins August 2nd at 11am!

Join Maxine Langford and Pastor Tim Wrenn as we dig into a book, Dear Church: A Love Letter from a Black Preacher to the Whitest Denomination in the US from a current ELCA pastor Rev. Lenny Duncan. We will be using his book to the church to talk about issues we can see and other ones we just have not thought of, yet. The sessions will be over Zoom during the normal Adult Sunday School time at 11 am on Sundays. We will begin on August 2nd and run for 11 weeks. 
All sessions will also be recorded and posted on CLC YouTube channel. 

If this is a topic that makes you uneasy, I want to encourage you to stretch yourself in a safe space. If you are not ready to join the group, I encourage you to get the book and give it a read, there are questions in the back to think about and journal on your own.
