For those with a strong desire for a better life complete the program and leave CSM with life skills for success, jobs, and often times, houses or apartments they can call home.
Cobb Street Ministries Dinner
For the past 10+ years, CLC has provided a delicious, nutritional hot dinner once per month to residents of CSM.
Cobb Street Christmas Gifts
For the past decade, we have provided varying levels of Christmas aid to CSM ranging from fulfilling lists of gift needs for children and mothers at their facility to providing gift cards allowing residents to shop personally.
Cobb Street Mother's Day Gifts In 2022, volunteers from CLC playfully worked with CSM children the day before Mother's Day. The result was a small personal gift and card from each child to her/his Mom.
Additionally, Mother's Day gift bags containing beauty and personal care products were assembled by CLC volunteers for ALL the adult residents of CSM. All were thrilled! Thrivent Funds and CLC donations made this possible.

Simple Needs GA
"For most of us, the likes of toiletries, towels and cleaning supplies count as “little things.” We hardly give them a second thought. For Simple Needs GA’s clients, though, these items are hugely important." Read more about CLC's involvement on Simple Needs Ga Blog:

American Red Cross
CLC revived Red Cross Blood Drives in August 2018. During the Covid years of 2020-2021, blood was in very short supply. Our little church opened its doors to the community as a Red Cross Donation Center and collected over 1000 units of blood. After Covid, CLC continues to offer space and volunteers for 2-4 blood drives per year.
Hunger Walk
Pre-Covid, Christ Lutheran members participated in the Hunger Walk to help feed the hungry in the greater Atlanta area - a walk/run team of all ages.
